“Maries Leben” is the first part of a trilogy about the relation between members of the working, the middle and the aristocrat class. We designed a temporary installation and our concept was to create a series of connected spaces, guided by a red thread, each representing a main character of the film by the use of graphics, light and sound. You can see the whole process here. In the movie, she wasn't allowed to express her emotions, toughts and wishes. That's why in the posters and the invitations, her mouth is blocked and you mostly see her eyes. Even though she can't talk, she still passes her feelings to us.
